Notes for the Week:
Scholastic Book Fair
Book Fair Location: CCLS Kirkwood Campus – Concordia Youth Room 
Book Fair Dates: Monday, May 4th – Wednesday, May 6th 
Shopping Hours: 
Monday & Tuesday: 7:45 am-1:30 pm  
Wednesday: 7:45 am-12:00 pm
Special Events: Fair open before, during and after Middle School Spring Fine Arts Concert on Tuesday, May 5th from 6:30-9:00 pm.

***This week,the class spent a lot of our time working on a special project for their moms for Mother's Day! We are not posting any pictures so it doesn't ruin the surprise!***

Magnets Exploration:
The children spent time this past week learning about magnetism. They tried different items to see what would and what would not work with the magnetic wands. 


 

The door frame is magnetic!





This week in building: BARNS!
What fun it was to try to build different types of barns.




Fine Motor:
Peerler/Melty Beads-
These beads are great for fine motor skills, working their small muscles in their fingers. It is also good for their hand-eye coordination. Plus they are able to create their own design or patterns and have a fun project in the end.





Puzzles:
Continuing the challenges of high count piece puzzles

 

 


Writing Center:
Creative writing, drawing and art!



Creating treasure maps!

Reading:
Always time for a good book!
 



 Dramatic Play:
Cooking pizza and cake
